 Still being bittenJul 14, 2010
I bought this stuff about a month ago and sprayed it everywhere everyday for the first week, then a few times a week. I am still getting bitten a lot at night by dust mites. This stuff is not effective.

OK, I purchased this little bottle of miracles: Kills the bugs, but harmless to pets and humans! I sprayed it all over the place: airbed (yep, discarded the matress), clothing, carpet, pillows, sheets, etc. I did not find the smell offensive.
The initial infestation was light so it was a week before I actually caught one in a clear plastic ice coffee cup. He was flat and therefore 'hungry. I decided it was my chance to test the efficacy of this ERADICATOR product. I sprayed the bug with a light mist--five minutes later it is still walking briskly. After two more times, it's still walking. I sprayed (soaked actually) a 1" square of tissue paper and placed it in the cup with the bug and went to work. When I got home, it was still walking vigorously.
So I gave him a slight puff of Amorphous DE Powder and went to bed. The next morning: He's dead. Now I know that 'n=1' does not usually constitute confidence, but I sprayed the sucker FOUR TIMES and he looked just fine. He was not indestructible. The DE powder killed it and also another 'engorged' bug in less than a few hours we trapped a few days later.
Get the AMORPHOUS DIATOMACEOUS POWDER and maybe a can of PRONTO, BEDLUM to SPRAY-AWAY for contact killing. GOOD LUCK!!!GreenSense Diatomaceous Earth 10 lb.

I used this product once Sunday morning. It indicates to spray bedding, etc twice a day. It doesn't indicate if you should lightly mist or be more generous. But after one single spray, the smell was strong enough that I opted for a 'light' misting. I was sneezing and coughing from merely using this product. (There was significant ventilation in a large Master suite.)
I couldn't imagine enduring spraying my carpet as well without additional .
By bedtime, the odor has dissipated significantly but I sneezed when my head hit the pillow.
It may be a 'safe' alternative to chemicals, but I was up all night sneezing and my eyes were irritated. I don't consider myself a person that is particularly sensitive to smells/chemicals.
Unfortunately, I'm going to have to send this back. I may have allergies to dust mites, but this product made my sleeping more uncomfortable than my dust mite allergy.

 Actually works where poisonous sprays failedMay 04, 2010
After gingerly trying the various chemical poison prays from Amazon & elsewhere that didn't work & worried us using around the beds, we tried two of the non-poisonous sprays.
We never got to the other one.
Eradicator was enough.
Just as the ratings promised.
A few days of this safe water-based, salt & a list of other non-poisonous contents and the bedbugs (of unknown origin, apparentally brought in from outside) vanished.
We keep spraying occasionally around the beds to catch newcomers or new hatchings - as a precaution.
Before all this, one of us also got hives reactions from initial bites.
And for a long time it was wrongly assumed that the the hives were all new bites.
All our normal hives/insect bite remedies didn't work (including the AllerClear-Loratadine generic antihistimine from Amazon that helped in 2007 for poison ivy initiated hives).
In trying everything, we finally found an old bottle from 2007 of a New Zealand blend (Histarix cream) of a variety of oils and such (including hydrogen peroxide) in a cream.
Apparently purchased & never used for poison ivy hives alternatives after prescriptions ran out (we do clean after exposure with the TECNU stuff from Amazon - which helps prevent the start of everything plus an occasional AllerClear-Loratadine table as a preventative).
Anyway, to our surprise, the New Zealand cream worked like a miracle to make the hives stop itching and go away in a few days - the most persistent spots in a week or so.
The bedbugs followed soon after the arrival of the Eradicator spray.
Curuously, even the old prescription cortizone cream didn't do this well on the bites & hives. It took weeks on the poison ivy precipated hives several years ago. And was greasy & messy.
And didn't do much at all this time for either bites or hives.
Amazon doesn't yet sell Histarix cream (or the liquid supplement). Histarix is found at: [...]
Worked for us.
Like Eradicator did.
We have now bought more Histarix - and more Eradicator - just to be ready.

Bed Bugs are gone !!Mar 14, 2010
We live in an apartment and thought that the bed bugs were coming through the walls but later figured out they came in through a dresser we bought at an estate sale. I got on Amazon and saw they have this new product from the same people that sell Kleen Free Naturally which we have used in the past and it worked great. They said this is the NEW IMPROVED version of it. ERADICATOR worked like a champ, it killed all the bed bugs after spaying the dresser and bed area for a few days. Thanks you and we will buy more to kill the dust mites that effect my daughters allergies. THX Z
