 Not very effective for prevention.Apr 12, 2010
I have a minor bedbugs problems in my apartment. Every 3-4 days, I would get couple bites by these nasty bugs.
I bought the ELF spray, and tested it on live bedbugs. The ELF solution is effective against bedbugs on contact. However, it is somewhat useless in terms of prevention. The bedbugs simply comes back week after week.
Instead, I bought some bedbugs powder from [...], and that seems to keep bedbugs to a minimum number.
I still get bites from time to time, but its far in between.

Not so effective, but helps somehowMar 20, 2010
I bought 6 of this, and kept using it for more than one month. After using it, I got less bites, from several bites per night to two or three bites per week. At first, I thought that it didn't kill all the bedbugs just because I didn't spray thoroughly. However, what I did today changed my mind.
I found a bedbug on the bed, and I sprayed directly to the bedbug. The bedbug was not kill immediately, but still moved around. And then I sprayed four times directly to that bedbug during 10 minutes, finally killer that bedbug. I don't know why it was so hard to kill just a single bedbug. Maybe that one is pretty strong and had some resistance to this medicine, or it takes time for the medicine to kill the bedbugs.
I think that it is hard to eliminate bedbugs just by using this medicine. Now, I am considering to buy a mattress cover. I hope that using mattress cover and this medicine will solve the problem.
Anyway, it is cheap and has some effects on controlling the number of bedbugs.
 A Safe Easy Effective Bargain to Eliminate Bed BugsFeb 10, 2010
Been using Eco Living Friendly for Bed Bugs for over a year now, and as a highly sensitive individual to allergies and pests, have been completely satisfied. So I just purchased a full selection of ELF Sleep Safe Queen size bedding encasements for my old but comfortable contaminated mattress, box spring, and my four favorite pillows. Now fully protected from Bed Bugs and Dust Mites, I also am very impressed with how my bed looks today-like brand new! I looked at all the ELF Sleep Safe products, and it looks like they can be used on any bed size out there.

Seems to work, has an interesting smellJan 05, 2010
I bought this because it is safe for pets...couldn't risk the health of my puppy. I used it as directed when I found two bedbugs that migrated from my neighbor's apartment. It work really well, but be advised that there is a smell. No, it's not offensive or nauseating, but it's definitely different and you'll notice it up to 2 hours after use. So be sure to open the window if you use a large amount.

The product had a strong vinegary order, which is resulted in migraines for someone like me that has severe allergies. The order was so strong that it had lingered for days.
Unfortunately; the product did not address the problem and of course, more sleepless nights beign attached by the bed bugs.
Despite the encasing I had used on the box springs and mattress - there is no safeguard on irradicating the bed bug problem. You can only be procative and minimize as much as possible with spraying ro washing sheets.
