Description:

The DX610 electronic pest repeller is scientifically designed and engineered to drive out mice, rodents, rats, field mouse, water bugs, roaches, spiders, and most unwanted pests and insects. It is currently used worldwide for rat and mouse control, as well as roach control in both commercial and home applications. The DX610 electronic pest control repeller is an effective, and welcomed alternative to toxic chemicals, or messy, and dangerous traps. The patented DX610 utilizes "advanced state of the art technology" and works by transmitting a powerful range of ultrasonic sound waves in the 45,000 Hz range. The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, and mice.. Lab and customer field testing have shown, for example, that rodents, like mice or rats, will leave the area for a less aggravating and stressful environment. These sound wave frequencies are inaudible to humans and non-rodent pets like your family cat, dog, or bird. The DX610 is very effective up to approximately 2000 square feet (on a single level). We recommend that you place one unit on each floor (incuding your attic, basement, attached garage) of your home or office for the best and fastest results. The key to extrodinary results is to cover your entire home so that rodents and insects have no place to hide. Please note that no device on the market will stop anything from entering if you don't seal up the opening, or if you leave food out for them, but the DX1610 Pest Repeller will drive them OUT if you have a problem. -- Buyers include: * Condo Associations and Homeowner Groups * US Millitary, Navy, Army, Marines * Restaurants and Bars * Food Processing Companies * Commercial Storage Warehouses * Schools * Business Owners * Home Owners * Hotels , Motels, and Retreats * Rental Property Owners and Management Companies

5It Works!Feb 03, 2010
The Pest-a-repel really works. I knew I needed one when others told me they had watched mice avoiding the one classroom that had a pest-a-repel installed. Since installing my own, I haven't seem any mice or their evidence.

3better than expectedJun 02, 2009
This device actually worked better than I expected at the price. I got one for my deck, which is about 20 x 10', due to carpenter bees in the day, and spiders and cockroaches at night.

It has been pretty effective with the carpenter bees. At first I thought they were completely gone but I have seen ONE since plugging in the Pest-A-Repel. Considering that before, I couldn't even sit peacefully in a chair without the bees buzzing around my head, this is definitely an improvement.

There is also an improvement in the spider webs, which normally when I open the back door at night I would get one in the face if I didn't wave my hands around like a lunatic. So far no spider webs, at least not near the door or area where I sit.

So far it hasn't affected the roaches that come out at night but I'm taking a wait and see attitude. The instructions say it can take a few weeks to start working fully, and it's only been about 2 weeks.

Even if it doesn't affect the roaches I feel this was a good value.

5DX610 Pest-A-RepelNov 12, 2008
As far as I can tell it's working in the house, I haven't seen any insects. We have never had a problem with insects/rodents in the house because I have always had pest repellers, just not this brand. One of my original repellers quit and I replaced it with the DX610. I liked it and thought it was working so I just put 2 in the garage for rodents but can't tell at present if they're effective. I need more time to make an evaluation. I will say that since putting them in the garage, I haven't noticed any insects.

4Not long enough yet--but promisingOct 13, 2008
There seems to be a marked decrease of roaches (the chief reason I purchased this) but there are still some that need to be gotten rid of. When I first got it, I waited till I saw a roach before I turned it on--the roach kinda went nuts--so it does affect them.

Since its been less than a month since I turned it on, I can't say one way or the other whether its totally effective since the product info says it may take longer, but it certainly does seem to be affecting the number of them around. I am seeing less than I used to, and the quiet ticking it produces is hardly noticeable--unless you're listening for it, or the room where it is is absolutely totally quiet.

For the money it costs, this unit is worth a try. It certainly does beat the repeated cost and possible danger of chemical use.

1Total crap...Sep 24, 2007
Don't waste your money. I got rid of the little pests by first finding the hole where they were coming in and cramming it with steel wool. I haven't seen them since. But it had NOTHING to do with this device. I had it plugged in for about a month and they were still coming inside just as often. It didn't appear to even phase them.
