 Amazing fruit fly killerAug 23, 2010
This works! We had an invasion of disgusting fruit flies and we had tried everything!
We plugged the Fly Web Fly Trap in at night and then counted the bodies in the morning. There was an immediate difference, although we still plug it in just to make sure. It also captures gnats.
We now seem to be "fruit-fly-free."

Yes, it's a little expensive, but so what--it works!!! I was surprised by a huge fly infestation in my kitchen. The usual fly paper ribbons didn't work so I searched the internet, found this product, and ordered it through Amazon, hoping against hope... And within literally 30 seconds of plugging it in, the flies began to swarm toward it. Or at least the ones that had survived my frantic fly swatter attack, and there were many! I am now flyless. It's very simple to use. Just slide in the fly paper and plug it in like a night light. I bought extra fly paper refills (necessary) along with an extra light-bulb replacement.

I wanted something that would work as well as traditional flypaper but wouldn't be so ugly. This is it. The light attracts all sorts of flying insects and they are instantly trapped on the gooey glue board. The frame does a decent job of hiding the trapped bugs from direct view, keeping things from gettong too unsightly.
Within minutes of plugging in the fly trap, there were insects trapped on the glue board. After two nights, my kitchen was fly free. As a bonus, the Fly Web makes a great night light.
Don't forget to buy a pack of refill glue boards. Fly Web Glue Board 10 Pack The one that comes with it fills up pretty quickly.

The fly in my house may be smarter. They circle around and then fly away. It's really waste of my money.

I purchased the Fly Web for my enclosed porch about three weeks ago. We were having problems with gnats and small beetles that somehow found their way in. I set the Fly Web up on a timer to run about four hours a night and the results have been great. I changed the glue pad once so far because it had gotten covered with insects. For the price you can't beat it.
