Seems to work well.Aug 27, 2010
We ordered this item as a precaution against bedbugs in our apartment. We heard that some apartments in the same complex (and possibly the same building) had bedbug infestations, so we wanted to make sure none would infest in our apartment by getting in through the connected walls and such.
Anyways, putting this thing on our boxspring wasn't hard-- I actually did it by myself, and I'm a 5'3, 110lb girl. You just have to be sure to be careful not to rip it-- the vinyl material seems a little fragile, so I mainly spent most of my energy trying to carefully slide it on inch by inch. If you pull to hard, I think it might break. Anyways, it'd be a lot easier to put on with two people, and you'd lessen the likelihood of ripping it.
Anyways, we haven't had any bedbug problems so far, so all is good-- I don't know if we were at risk for having bedbugs in the first place, but I'm glad we don't, and I'm glad they can't get into our boxspring!

Price + Shipping shouldnt have exceeded $25. So I will say its costly.
The material is venyle, They should have used some stronger fabric mix so that its tough with the bed metal frame.
Since the material could tear I have padded my spring box corners with folded paper towel. and used cardboard pieces to cushion all the joints and sharp edges of my Bed metal frame.
I have sealed the spring box and it sits nicely on the frame. I have checked for any tears after 15 days of use and things look good.
So some painfull installation procedure will ensure that you are safe from bedbugs. I have also sealed my matress with microfiber cloth cover
Finally some sound sleep.
I will give it a 3 star. It will get 5 * if the fabric is tough and tear proof at the same total price.

We had bedbugs and it was driving us crazy. Not to mention how unatractive it is to walk around all full of scabs in the summertime. This product did the trick. The very first night we put it on we were able to sleep through the night.

The ZipCover fit perfectly well over my box spring. It is quiet sturdy and was easy to install. I'd definitely recommend this to people who want to protect their box spring from bugs.

I own a company called THE MATTRESS NURSE, we clean and sanitize mattresses. We highly recommend ELF SAFE ZIP mattress and pillow covers. Each mattress contains MILLIONS of filthy DUST MITES and they feed on your dead skin sells and poop 20 to 30 times each night!
